Perfect for students interested in working with kids, Volunteer Camp: Childcare Experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at youth programming at The Community House. Open to students entering 6th–8th grade, this week allows campers to explore what it’s like to support different age groups in a childcare and camp setting.
Throughout the week, campers will assist with a variety of programs across the organization, including Summer Day Camp, Kiddie Camp, and Spark Camp. Under staff supervision, participants will help with games, activities, organization, and daily camp routines while building leadership, responsibility, and communication skills.
This week is ideal for campers who enjoy working with younger children or are curious about future opportunities in childcare, education, or youth leadership.
