About This Activity
Instructor: Orchard Elementary School Learning Support Teacher Beth Larner Learn basic sewing skills and serve others at the same time! Campers will begin by working together to decide on a project and what organization it will benefit, such as blankets for the animal shelter, stuffed toys to comfort kids in need, or tote bags for school supplies. After choosing a project, we will make a trip to the fabric store to purchase supplies and then create! Campers will learn to follow a pattern, cut out the fabric, and sew using the sewing machine.
