All American Red Cross levels are designed to build upon each other. Age ranges are based on the actual age of child upon start date.Adult-Child (Ages: 6-18 months): An introductory course which covers safety topics and water readiness skills through parent-led games and songs. Water entry and exit safety is emphasized along with general aquatic safety skills. Children must be accompanied for entire class by person age 16+.
Adult-Child (Ages: 18-36 months): Focuses on holding and support techniques, water adjustment, breath control, and buoyancy. Water entry and exit safety is emphasized along with general aquatic safety skills. Children must be accompanied for entire class by person age 16+.
