About This Activity
Camp Leadership Apprentices Hands on leadership experience for students ready to step up. Apprentices shadow camp instructors, support activities as teacher assistants, and learn what it takes to run a great camp including communication, teamwork, organization, problem solving, and positive mentorship. Throughout the session, students take on increasing responsibility, practice leading small groups, and learn the basics of safety, professionalism, and supporting younger campers with confidence and care. By the end, Apprentices leave with real experience, stronger resumes, and the leadership tools to serve as future camp staff, student leaders, and role models.
