No class 2/17, 3/30, & 4/6. Students focus on methods aimed at performing a selection of one or more portions of a fictional piece. With a spotlight on character development and depth, interpretation events focus on a student’s ability to convey emotion through the use of a text. Each class is meant to highlight key methods of interpretation and expression in speech and theater. (Storytelling, Declamation, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Prose, Poetry). *Prerequisite: Students enrolling in this class must have taken at least 1 semester of Art of Public Speaking or completed 2 advanced Little Orator classes.
