About This Activity
After completing PA (formerly DCA), CIT 1 or CIT 2, we invite you to come back to camp and practice your new skills in this PA/CIT Internship. You'll be paired up with a unit of younger campers and help create camp magic for them. Working with camp staff to plan and lead activities for campers, you will spend time with other PAs/CITs and teen leadership staff to refine your skills and make your own camp memories enjoying classic camp activities. Prerequisite: Successful completion of PA or CIT 1 or CIT 2. If you have completed Program Aide (PA) Training, you will be paired with a Daisy unit. If you have completed CIT 1, you will be paired with a Daisy or Brownie unit. If you have completed CIT 2, you will be paired with a Daisy, Brownie, or Junior unit. New this year – To simplify the registration process, PAs/CITs register for the day camp week you wish to volunteer. The Camp director and Teen Leadership Coordinator will collaborate with PAs/CITs to place you with a specific program based on your interests and the needs of the campers. NOTE: If all prerequisites have not been met to qualify as a PA/CIT, your camp PA/CIT registration will be cancelled.
