About This Activity
This program is intended to develop stroke technique on all four competitive strokes. Participants will have the opportunity to get conditioning through lap swimming with an emphasis on stroke technique. Starts and turns used in each of the competitive strokes will be introduced in the conditioning process. Participating swimmers must know how to swim freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke with proper rhythmic breathing, kick and stroke techniques for at least one width of the pool. A basic understanding of the butterfly is also required.
