About This Activity
This course provides the necessary skills and training for the basic entry-level lifeguard. Students must be 15 years of age or older to enroll in this course. Students must be able to swim 300 yards without stopping, retrieve a 10lbs brick from 12 feet of water, and tread water using only their legs for two minutes. Preventative life-guarding, safety skills, and CPR/First Aid/AED are among the many topics to be learned. Online course material will be sent out 7-10 days prior to our first meeting date. All online course materials MUST BE COMPLETED AND PROOF OF COMPLETION MUST BE PRINTED OUT and provided on the first day. All dates are required. Friday 6:30pm-8pm Saturday 9am-6pm Sunday 9am-6pm
