These first two stages are designed to guide beginner swimmers through the development of breath control (bubble blowing), submersion (bobs), front and back floating and gliding (5-10Ft), treading (10sec) and independent exit from the pool. By the end of Stage 2, all skills will be unassisted. Benchmark skills for these levels include jump-push-turn-grab and swim-float-swim (15ft).
No prerequisite or swim evaluation needed.
All program withdraw or transfer requests must be received in writing before the 20th of the month prior to the program start date. After the 20th of the month, all credit and transfer requests are at the discretion of the program director.
No class will be held on Sunday, July 5.
No swim lessons will be held before 2pm on Sunday, July 19 for our Annual Lifeguard Games Event
No class will be held the week of Monday August 31 through Sunday September 6 for our Enhancement Week.
