About This Activity
Dates are: 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 (no class 3/31) The Farm Hands Apprentice Program at Sienna Ranch offers youth aged 12-14 an exciting opportunity to gain leadership experience while helping to mentor younger campers. Apprentices will learn essential skills such as group facilitation, conflict resolution, and animal interactions. Apprentices will also observe experienced instructors to develop their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The program is designed to engage apprentices in meaningful leadership roles while deepening their connection to nature and teaching them to work as part of a team. In addition to practical experience, apprentices will receive a Sienna Ranch t-shirt and a letter of recommendation upon completion. Applicants must be available for the full duration of their chosen camp weeks and should be prepared for outdoor activities in all weather conditions. Apprentices must also demonstrate flexibility, patience, and strong communication skills, as well as adhere to attendance and responsibility expectations.
