Red Cross Learn to Swim classes are progressive classes for youths, ages 6 to 12 years old. The Level 2 class requires successful completion of Level 1 or equivalent skills, such as water comfortability, and ability to submerge under water. Skills introduced in this level include:
- Basic breath control and water submersion, up to 5 seconds
- Independent floats and glides
- Turning from front to back and back to front
- Rudimentary strokes and kicks on both front and back
NO CLASS 6/29 & 7/1.
