Preschool Level 3:
| Expectations: |
- 5 minutes at the beginning of each lesson is dedicated to safety topics and attendance
- The first few days will be spent reviewing skills already known and refining them
- Games and songs may be used
- Toys will be intermittently used as aids as well as noodles, barbells, and other floatation devices
- Some activities may be 1 on 1 with instructor and others may be a group activity. There will be down time while children wait their turn
- This class will go to the deep end
- Children will be encouraged to do most actions independently with the instructor closely monitoring
- This class will focus on comfort submerging and elementary swimming without assistance

- Bobs - where children submerge their entire head and resurface
- Back float with ears in, flat back, and completely still with small amount of instructor or flotation device assistance
- Front float with face in, flat body, and completely still with small amount of instructor or flotation device assistance
- Comfort moving in the water independently of instructor with a flotation device

- Moving forward in the water on the front with arm and leg action independent of instructor
- Kicking on the back independently
