Preschool Level 1:
| Expectations: |
- This class is meant for children who are over the age of 3 and have very little to no experience in the water
- 5-7 minutes at the beginning of each lesson is dedicated to safety topics and attendance
- First few days will be spent getting used to the water and getting the face wet while playing games
- Games and songs will be regularly used to make activities fun
- Toys will be intermittently used as aids as well as noodles, barbells , and other floatation devices
- Children will have 1 safety lesson devoted to lifejackets
- Most activities will take place 1 on 1 with the instructor meaning there will be down time while children wait their turn
- Occasionally this class may go to the deep end

| What skills they should already know: |
- 100% potty trained and over the age of 3 on the first day of class
- Children should be comfortable working with an instructor and being around other children
- Children should be able to take instructions and implement them (huge for safety)
- Children should be willing to get wet

| What skills they will learn: |
- Back float with ears in with instructor help or flotation device help
- Front float with instructor help or flotation device help
- Arm movement also known as scoopers with instructor help or flotation help
- Kicking when positioned on the front and the back with instructor help or flotation help
- Putting face in the water and blowing bubbles
