About This Activity
Description
Safety Around Water lessons teach non-swimmer/beginner children about basic swimming skills, pool safety, rescue skills, boating safety, and personal water safety.
This is a free, grant-funded program.
Parent is required to accompany the child in the water.
Our Parent & Child swim lessons promote water enrichment and aquatic readiness with activities for children six months to three years of age, along with their parent.
The certified swim instructor for this class will be teaching from the pool deck, instructing parents on how to interact socially with their children in an aquatic environment while having fun and beginning the ground work for basic swim skills--including blowing bubbles, jumping in the pool, and playing water games.
Please wear a bathing suit and bring a towel.
