The department of Communication Sciences and Disorders will be providing a summer camp that explores self-expression, communication, and interaction skills through the arts. This two-week camp will encourage self-empowerment, advocacy, and social-emotional communication as participants work together. We will make memories tapping into our expressive abilities using visual arts, movement/dance, and simple drama tasks. Participants should be 12-17 years old, may have a variety of communication styles, and should be able to follow simple instructions with minimal support. Daily Schedule: 1:00 - Welcome 1:10 – 2:30 - Drama 2:30 – 2:45 – Snack 2:45 –3:10 – Movement/Dance 3:10 – 3:45 – Visual Arts 3:45 – 3:55 – Clean Up 4:00 - Dismissal
