About This Activity
Description
Increases comfort with underwater exploration and introduces basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance. Goals for this class are front glide and back glide to the wall 5feet away. Be able to float on front and back 10 secs and recover independently. Learn how to swim, float and swim 10 feet as well as push, turn, and grab independently.
Refunds:
Due to high demand for swim lessons and administrative time for processing and enrollment, full refunds are not offered after the session begins. After this time, members may request a partial refund until the end of the 1st week of the session. There will be no refunds given after the 1st week of session. Please attach a doctor's note if relevant. Refunds will only be accepted through submission of email to Aquatics@ymcaLA.orgDue to all programs being impacted there will be no make up lessons for any missed classes.Activity Age Category
