Refines stroke techniques on all major competitive strokes and encourages swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle. Increase endurance of any stroke or combination of strokes to 150 yards. Students will be introduced to flip turns for front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke open turns. Additionally, students will increase front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke to 50 yards. Butterfly endurance will be increased to 25 yards.
Refunds:
Due to high demand for swim lessons and administrative time for processing and enrollment, full refunds are not offered after the session begins. After this time, members may request a partial refund until the end of the 1st week of the session. There will be no refunds given after the 1st week of session. Please attach a doctor's note if relevant. Refunds will only be accepted through submission of email to Aquatics@ymcaLA.orgDue to all programs being impacted there will be no make up lessons for any missed classes.Activity Age Category
