About This Activity
Description
At the Y, swimming is a life skill. Our swim lessons prepare kids of all ages to stay safe and have fun in the water, building strong swimmers and confident kids.
Swim Crew is a non-competitive swim club that refines stroke techniques and practices competitive strokes. Part of the course will include drowning prevention techniques and safety around the water.
To be in Swim Crew, swimmers must have passed Stage 6 or be proficient in the front crawl, back crawl, and resting strokes along with knowing the basics of butterfly and breaststroke.
Due to high demand for swim lessons and administrative time for processing and enrollment, full refunds are not offered after the session begins. After this time, members may request a partial refund until the end of the 1st week of the session. There will be no refunds given after the 1st week of session. Please attach a doctor's note if relevant. Refunds will only be accepted through submission of email to Aquatics@ymcaLA.orgDue to all programs being impacted there will be no make up lessons for any missed classes.
