Description
SharksThis class appropriate for swimmers who are comfortable gliding, kicking, and beginning freestyle with side breathing. This level focuses on mastering freestyle, backstroke, and beginning breaststroke. Swimmers continue to build endurance as they polish technical skills, practice with equipment, and strengthen their overall swimming abilities. Water safety is reinforced at every step to prepare swimmers for confident, independent swimming.

What to Expect:
Please check in at the front desk when you arrive. Swimmers should change into their suits and take a quick rinse in the shower before entering the pool area. Instructors will gather students at the start of class and lead them through structured, skill-building activities. Lessons are focused on refining stroke technique, improving stamina, and preparing swimmers for Junior Swim Team.
Please do NOT register the participant for the next level UNTIL the participant has passed the previous level of lessons.
Activity Refunds:
All refunds will be assessed a 6% ActiveNet processing fee. Account credits will not be charged this fee.
Patrons may cancel their participation in a program at any time and are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Credits and refunds will be granted as follows:Pre-registration required activities:• 100% refund, transfer or account credit, 15 days or more before activity registration closes• 50% refund, transfer or account credit, 7-14 days before activity registration closes• No refund, transfer or credit, 6 days or less before activity registration closesDrop-in activities:• 100% refund, transfer or account credit prior to the start of the activity• No refund, transfer or credit after activity has started
The executive director and/or their designee has the authority to grant exceptions to these guidelines on an as-needed, situational basis. Documentation will be provided and approved in writing.
