Description
Level 3The Level 3 class is appropriate for swimmers that know how to comfortably hold their breath and float on their stomach and back independently. Additionally, they should be able to recover from a front and back glide with no assistance. Swimmers will be taught front & back flutter kick & dolphin kick while mastering kicking skills with front and back glides. As well as breath control and side beathing techniques.ADVANCE TO LEVEL 4: Participants should be able to demonstrate the following without assistance: Demonstrate proper hand positioning and perform an appropriate flutter kick on their stomach while demonstrating a snapping turtle breath for at least fifteen feet with no flippers or kickboard. Demonstrate a proper flutter kick on the back for at least fifteen feet without fins. Finally, be able to execute a dolphin kick and snapping turtle breath for at least ten to fifteen feet without fins. **Only with instructor approval**
Please do NOT register the participant for the next level UNTIL the participant has passed the previous level of lessons.
Activity Refunds:
All refunds will be assessed a 6% ActiveNet processing fee. Account credits will not be charged this fee.
Patrons may cancel their participation in a program at any time and are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Credits and refunds will be granted as follows:Pre-registration required activities:• 100% refund, transfer or account credit, 15 days or more before activity registration closes• 50% refund, transfer or account credit, 7-14 days before activity registration closes• No refund, transfer or credit, 6 days or less before activity registration closesDrop-in activities:• 100% refund, transfer or account credit prior to the start of the activity• No refund, transfer or credit after activity has started
The executive director and/or their designee has the authority to grant exceptions to these guidelines on an as-needed, situational basis. Documentation will be provided and approved in writing.
