About This Activity
The Beginner C420 class is designed for older/taller sailors (ages 12-18) who are comfortable on the water and ready to challenge their sailing skills alone in a Laser or with a partner in a C420. We recommend completing one or more Learn to Sail sessions before participating in this class. There will be both on- and off-water instruction focused on developing basic sailing skills and learning to maneuver larger dinghies. Students will learn about the new boats, rigging, handling, and sail trim. This class is designed for sailors seeking to become proficient at dinghy sailing and will prepare them for racing or becoming recreational-oriented sailing masters!
