READY TO TAKE YOUR JUNIOR LIFEGUARDING TO THE NEXT LEVEL?Step into the Future Lifeguard Program at the MARC—where future lifeguards go beyond the basics and dive into the real world of aquatic safety! This advanced program is designed for returning participants who are ready to sharpen their skills, build leadership, and experience what it truly means to be a lifeguard during the busy summer season.You’ll receive enhanced training in rescue techniques, emergency response, and advanced water safety, plus gain hands-on experience through rotations with our lifeguard team during open swim sessions. See firsthand how lifeguards keep our pools safe, manage real-time situations, and work as a team under pressure.By the end of the program, you’ll not only earn CPR and First Aid certification, but also develop the confidence, professionalism, and practical skills that set you apart as a future lifeguard.This is your chance to go beyond watching the water—become part of the team that protects it!Program Acknowledgment & Important InformationThank you for registering! Please review the following program details and prerequisites:This is a second-year training program designed for participants who have already completed two full seasons of Junior Lifeguard.Please note: This is not a lifeguard employment position. It is a developmental training program for individuals who are interested in becoming a lifeguard in the future.At the conclusion of the course, participants will earn First Aid and CPR certifications, but will not receive a Lifeguard Certification.Program Prerequisites:Participants must be able to complete the following skills:• Swim 25 yards of continuous front crawl while demonstrating breath control.• Tread water for 1 minute.• Demonstrate comfort on the back by either floating for 30 seconds or swimming 25 yards on the back.Please ensure participants are prepared for these requirements.
