About This Activity
Our Seahorse Camp at California Yacht Club is designed especially for our youngest sailors (ages 4–7). This fun, confidence-building program introduces children to the water through games, basic sailing skills, ocean safety, and teamwork in a safe and supportive environment. Campers spend time on the water in small groups with experienced instructors, while also enjoying shore-based activities that build coordination, independence, and a love for the ocean. We offer a half-day option from 8:30am–1:30pm, and a full-day option that runs until 4:30pm, giving families flexibility based on their child’s readiness and schedule. Seahorse Camp is all about creating a positive first experience in sailing—focused on safety, smiles, and skill development at an age-appropriate pace.
