About This Activity
This class is taught using a rally-based curriculum and focuses on developing sending and receiving skills, sound footwork, racquet mechanics and incorporating comparable athletic skills developed in other sports. Players learn how to properly position themselves to execute groundstrokes and volleys, hit with purpose, serve and ultimately sustain a rally of varying speed and duration. Class Dates: Tuesday - 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4 (MAKEUP) Thursday - 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6 (MAKEUP) Saturday - 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25, 6/1, (6/8 MAKE UP) Class consolidations will occur the week of March 25th.
