About This Activity
Supervisor: Ron Willis, West Shore Scuba Harrisburg's Westshore Scuba will use instructional procedures and certifying standards established and maintained by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Students will learn how to correctly put on and adjust their equipment, control their breathing, and get accustomed to being underwater and using their scuba equipment. They will put their newfound skills to use while performing “Aqua Missions” underwater. In addition to their water time, the students will continue their learning out of the pool and will discuss conservation and marine biology. The only items you need to bring with you for your Discover Scuba experience are a bathing suit, a towel, and a release form.
