During camp, students will focus on honing various theatrical skills including musical, dramatic, movement/dance, artistic, and technical skills. Students will work on vocal technique, solo and group choreography and movement, blocking and staging, scenework, developing characters, and making choices. Students will be engaged in the design process and have opportunities to paint, assemble costumes, and learn about the various technical elements that go into the show as they work collaboratively with the crew and how the two groups work together to make a production successful. Additionally, students will improve their dramatic skills through theatre games and improvisation activities. While major costume pieces will be provided, students will be responsible for bringing base layers and shoes. A $15 CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR CANCELLATION OF ANY CAMP REGISTRATION.
