Ages 6 - 13 - For the beginning swimmer or fearful child. This is the beginning swim lesson level for school age children new to swim lessons or who are fearful of the water. The focus of this class is to help children become comfortable in the water. Skills focused on in this level are water adjustment, safe entry and exiting of the pool, submerging, floats, glides, and movement in the water on front and back with assistance. To pass this level: the child must be willing to submerge on their own (perform 5 "bobs"), show they are comfortable floating on back with assistance, and complete with assistance from the instructor.
Please Note: You can register your child for only one swim class at a time. You must wait until your child has completed their current swim level before registering for the next session / level
