Ages 6 - 13 - child must have passed our school-age Level 1 class or perform skills at that level. Children starting at this level must be able to submerge on their own (face and head underwater), comfortably float on their back with assistance, and scoop on front 5 feet with assistance. The focus of this clas is to help children gain confidence in the water and learn to perform specific skills independently - floats, glides, rolling over in the water, swimming on front and on back. To pass this level: the child must be able to perform the following skills independently - complete 10 bobs, floats 10 - 15 seconds, glides each 10 feet, kick on back 15 feet, and scoop & kick on front 15 (along with other skills included in this level).
You can register your child for only one swim class at a time. You must wait until your child has completed their current swim level before registering for the next level** .
