Age 3 - 5. Child must have passsed our preschool level 1 or perform skills at that level.Children starting at this level must be able to submerge on their own (face and head underwater), comfortably float on their back with assistance, and scoop on front 5 feet with assistance. The focus of this class is to help gain confidence in the water and learn to perform specific skills independently - floats, glides, rolling over in the water, and swimming on front and on back. To pass this level: the child mus be able to perform the follwing skills independently - complete 5 bobs, front & back floats each 5 seconds, front & back glides each 5 feet, kick on back 5 feet, and scoop & kick on front 5 feet (along with other skills inlcuded in this level).
You can register your child for only one swim class at a time. You must wait until your child has completed their current swim session / level before registering for the next session / level.
