Description
Leads to D.N.R. Certification . State law: No person under the age of 10 years amy operate a motorboat. State guidelines say that the minimum age is 10 to take the course but recommedned age is 12. A person 12 years of age may operate a motor boat if they have successfully completed a DNR baoting sapety course and possess a boating certificate inssued by the DNR. A person at least 16 years old may opeate a motorboat only if he or she has completed a boating sagety course that is accepted by Wisconsin DNR. A person born before January 1, 1989 is exempt from the safety course requiremnet.
The first week, June 9-13th is in the morning, 10:00am - 12:00pm. The second week, June 16-18th is in the afternoon, 1:30pm - 3:30pm. June 17th is Test Date. Once student is done with the test on June 18th, they may leave. June 18th is "graduation" day & review of test results.
