About This Activity

Description

Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details.

This level suits swimmers who are relaxed and confident in the water.
They should also be able to demonstrate all Novice Swimmer skills, which include:
- Complete head submersion with 10 bobs- Jump into chest-deep water independently
- Swim on front and back (“reach and pull” and “circle” arms) for two body lengths without support, maintaining face in the water while on the front
- Hold a back and front float for 5 seconds without assistance
- Roll from Front to Back and Back to Front (some assistance is OK)

Main goal for this level: Swimmers become safe and capable in deep water. They must be able to submerge their head easily and swim short distances—both on their front and back—without any assistance.

Additional skills:
- Submerge head repeatedly while bobbing in deep water
- Open eyes underwater to retrieve objects - Jump into water over their head
