About This Activity
NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO PROGRAMMING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19TH FOR THE JUNETEENTH FEDERAL/STATE HOLIDAY. Please note: Middle School Policy Debate Camp - Session I and Session II are the same class, just held at different times. Please only register your student for ONE of the two session options. Students will learn about and debate important topics relevant to their lives while gaining communication, reasoning, and public speaking skills. Debate is a way to learn to disagree in a healthy and productive way centered around reasoning and evidence! If you like to argue, ponder, question, or just learn something new, then this camp is for you! Students will learn the fundamentals of policy debate and learn about the topic area for competitive debate in the 24-25 school year. Lunch from the Augsburg Cafeteria is included in the tuition. Aftercare is offered from 3-6pm for $75 for the week.
