About This Activity
Campers will learn about the connection between digital and real-world environments and explore hands-on how real-world environments inspire game designers to create biomes in games. Step into the world of professional digital art in our digital art and animation summer camp! This is your chance to master the tools the pros use. You'll move beyond the basics, learning about layers, lighting, and advanced animation principles to create stunning, fluid animations. You’ll build an impressive project to add to your portfolio and gain a deeper understanding of the entire creative process, from initial concept to a finished, high-quality animated short. Get ready to turn your passion into a serious skill. Campers will work together to create settlements in one of the many biomes Minecraft has to offer and even learn about those same biomes in the real world! Towards the end of the week, the campers will put their builds to the ultimate test and defend their settlements from invasions. And never fear, before camp is over, campers will get a chance to do what all Minecraft players love to do: DESTROY! This camp will use Minecraft’s Education Edition. It is not necessary for your camper to bring any login information to camp
