3rd/4th grade Culinary Arts - The Cooking and Gardening Pilot Class follows a standards-based curriculum for elementary to high school students to explore the interactions between food, culture, health, and the environment through interactive cooking and gardening lessons. At the heart of this dynamic and joyful learning experience, the focus is to educate young students on growing, preparing, and eating healthy food, and empower them to become environmental stewards. Students will be introduced to a variety of practical cooking skills and explore connections between foods and culture. Basic kitchen skills will provide a foundation for recipe creation allowing students to taste their work and bring home recipes to share with family. 3er/4to grados- Artes culinarias - Los estudiantes serán introducidos a una variedad de habilidades prácticas de cocina y explorarán las conexiones entre los alimentos y la cultura.
