Description
The Macomb Family YMCA and Huron-Clinton Metroparks are partnering to provide swim lessons to Macomb County Participants. Students will receive 5 Safety Around Water swim lessons. Each class is 45 minutes. Class will meet Monday thru Friday. Participants must be ages 5-14 years of age and live in the following zip codes to qualify: 48043, 48035,48036,48026,48066,48021

We strongly encourage all students to participate all five days, gear will be passed out on the last day!
The goal of Safety Around Water is to teach students two benchmark skills: jump, push, turn, grab and swim, float, swim. The three stages of Safety Around Water are designed to accomplish this goal while also allowing you to meet students where they are. Students who complete Safety Around Water are prepared to transition directly into swim lessons to continue learning.
No makeup classes or refunds will be provided if your child misses a class.
