Welcome to the Latin Jazz Camp, an opportunity for music enthusiasts of all levels to explore the dynamic realm of Latin jazz. Designed for both beginners and seasoned musicians, this camp offers expert guidance from North Central College Jazz faculty and guest artists local to Chicago. Our curriculum of diverse workshops includes basic skills development, ensemble performance, and jazz improvisation, all of which deepen the understanding of Latin jazz's unique rhythms and styles. Participating in our camp not only enhances your musical abilities but also connects you with fellow jazz aficionados in a supportive and engaging environment. Embrace this chance to develop your talents and immerse yourself in the world of Latin jazz – join us for an educational and rewarding musical journey! July 18 (Last Day of Camp) a performance will be held at 5P in Madden Theater. Parents are encouraged to attend. Performance will conclude at 6P Campers should bring their primary instrument.
