Join Mr. Ballow and Mr. Erickson for LEGO League Robotics Camp Explore Level this Spring! This exciting robotics program will be open to 1st and 2nd grade students and is designed to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. This camp will be packed with engaging activities where kids will build, program, and explore using LEGO Spike Essential robotics kits, all while having a blast with their peers. We are excited to guide participants through hands-on projects and introduce them to the fundamentals of STEM in a fun and interactive way. LEGO Explore is the perfect opportunity for young engineers to explore robotics and coding and is an important first step leading toward our next and more advanced LEGO program for 3rd through 5th graders, the Challenge League. 1st and 2nd graders will learn important foundational skills and get comfortable with building and modifying robots and projects as well as the block style coding used to program the robots. This LEGO robotics camp began this winter and will continue this spring and will meet every Wednesday after school. Participants need to sign up each trimester, but priority will be given to returning students. Participating in both winter and spring trimesters is encouraged, but not required. We will end the year with a celebration for anyone who participated in the camp during the year.
