2 Saturdays, March 14 11:30 am - 2:00 pm and April 4, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Fun with Ceramics for Kids Taught by Karen Yarnall, 5-13 $50 Member / $55 Non-member We will hand-build creations with clay. Students will be given a choice of projects. After construction, the projects must dry thoroughly before being bisque fired in a kiln. That is why there is a three-week gap between the two classes. During the second class, students will glaze their works and then they will be fired a second time. The instructor will call when the finished projects are ready for pick-up at NAA. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Karen is an artist and art educator: BA, Franklin College, IN, MAE (Masters of Art Education) IUPUI (Indiana University/Purdue U). She retired from teaching art at Newark High School.
