2 Saturdays, May 2 -9, 1:00 - 3:30 pm Mosaic Door Stop Taught by Terry Foreman, 14+ $80 Member / $88 Non-member Learn the basics of mosaics while working on a brick that can be used in the garden or as a doorstop. You’ll learn to nip, glue and make colored grout in this two session class. Mosaic in the first class, grout in the second class. All materials supplied. These techniques are adaptable to making stepping stones for the yard. The Newark Arts Alliance will retain a $5 cancellation fee if a student withdraws from a class. Terry has a BA in Fine Arts and over 35 years experience teaching art to all ages and developing programs in the arts. Her most recent work includes mosaics, sewn felt ornaments, collage and graphic design. She has taught art to K-8 in a private school and has created art classes in community art settings for many years. She founded Art to Go, Camp Imagine and organized or painted several local murals.
