The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Pre-Course TESTING: Contact Jeff State to setup your time to complete the following before 3/27/2026 1) Swim (150 Yards)-Tread (2 Minutes)-Swim (50 Yards) 2) Time Brick Retrieval (1 Minute 40 Second). Plan to complete all eLearning prior the in-person class.
