Be aware, scheduling is tentative and may be updated, modified or cancelled based on instructor availability.Level 1: Ages 6-14No Prerequisite. This is a non-blended introductory class for swimmers to the aquatic environment. Great for first time swimmers or kids who need in-water support while practicing their skills.In this class your swimmer will progress through water adjustment, assisted water skills on their front and back and will be taught how to be safe around the water. Swimmers will also learn how to use a life jacket and how to get help when they visit us here at the pool.To successfully pass to a level 2 class your swimmer will need to comfortably master all skills and complete the following exit skills:Enter independently, and comfortably travel at least 5 yardsBob 5 times, fully submerging, and safely exit the water at the wall.They will also need to be able to glide with their face comfortably in the water and the water line at their ears.
Class takes place in 42 inches of water. Classes cancelled by management will be credited to your CPRD ActiveNet account unless otherwise specified. Classes missed due to illness, vacation, etc. do not qualify for credit/make-up or refund. Participant withdrawal is required at least 24 hours prior to the first class to receive full credit; a $25.00 admin fee will be levied for late withdrawals.
