At Stars Swim Team, we believe every swimmer has the potential to shine. Whether you're learning competitive stroke technique or refining advanced skills and building endurance, our experienced coaches provide high-quality instruction in a fun and supportive environment where swimmers grow in confidence, sportsmanship, responsibility, and self-discipline.
Our competitive recreational program is open to swimmers ages 6–18. To join, swimmers should be able to swim at least two lengths of the pool (50 yards) and one length (25 yards) of each of the four competitive strokes. Before practices begin, each swimmer is evaluated and placed in the practice group that best matches their skills and goals, ensuring they receive the coaching they need to succeed.
Stars swimmers have the opportunity to compete in local swim meets throughout the northern and western suburbs during both the summer and winter seasons. Meet participation is encouraged but always optional. Our goal is simple: help every swimmer become their best while building a lifelong love of swimming.
Swimmers may attend only their assigned practice sessions. Swimming outside of practice requires a facility membership or daily admission. Parents are always welcome to stay on deck during practice.
Registration and payment must be completed before the first day of practice. Team fees do not include a facility membership, and families are responsible for purchasing swimsuits and required equipment. A $25 sibling discount is available for each additional swimmer from the same family.

Swimmers are responsible for swimsuit and equipment costs. A discount of $25 may be deducted for each additional sibling from the same family that is registered for the Stars Swim Team. To receive this discount you must register in person.
