The first stop on our adventure is participating in the world’s largest treasure hunt, also known as Geocaching! There are millions of ‘cache stashes' around the globe and even some in our local community. Campers will create their very own treasure box to collect and leave trinkets with words of encouragement that reflect God’s love for others! We will learn more about geography, maps, and navigation skills while on our virtual summer road trip. Discover God’s Handiwork in our U.S. National Parks like the incredible Denali National Park in Alaska, home to the famous Iditarod dog sled race, or take a virtual helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon! Participate in our Lancer games obstacle and adventure racing course while learning about God’s great outdoors, camping, wildlife, and nature. If we’re lucky, we might even get to stop by the famous Smithsonian Museums during our summer road trip and create friendships that last a lifetime along the way! There will be a Family Fun Showcase at the close of camp on Friday. Camp cost includes materials for projects created during camp that the students will take home for their own adventures!
