About This Activity
Explore the beauty of the winter season through watercolor! In this guided workshop, students will learn foundational watercolor techniques, including color blending, layering, and creating soft washes. They'll then put their new skills into practice as they follow along step by step to create their own winter-inspired painting. Each student will leave with an original watercolor piece, perfect for displaying as seasonal decor or giving as a handmade gift to someone special. No previous watercolor experience is necessary—just come ready to learn, experiment, and create! About the Instructor: Joanna Carillo is a published children's book author and illustrator and fine artist whose work spans watercolor, ink, and other traditional mediums. All art materials are provided. Please bring a snack for a short break during class.
