This class studies two different dance styles across the year, with one style covered during the fall semester and the 2nd style during the spring semester. This class starts the process of creating “Triple Threats”. Musical Theater is one of the largest professional outlets for a dancer, teaching the art of Dance Character Creation, Acting the Dance, Stage Acting and Character arching through a production. Modern dance is an eclectic combination of Cunningham, Humphrey, Limon and Graham techniques focusing on contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics.
