About This Activity
Description
Our Parent & Child swim lessons promote water enrichment and aquatic readiness with activities for children six months to three years of age, along with their parent.The certified swim instructor for this class will be teaching in the water, instructing parents on how to interact socially with their children in an aquatic environment while having fun and beginning the groundwork for basic swim skills--including blowing bubbles, jumping in the pool, and playing water games.
To avoid cancellations due to inclement weather, Safety Topics will be covered (maximum of 2 lessons).
Prerequisites:
Participating child must be accompanied by a parent or trusted guardian who will be in the pool with the child at all times.
What Do I Need:
A swim diaper or rubber pants are required for any child not fully potty-trained.
Please bring swimsuit and towel. Swim shirt (recommended).
