Stage 1 (Water Acclimation):Students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water in Stage 1. This stage lays the foundation that allows for student's future progress in swimming. Students in this stage focus on developing basic skills to propel and glide through the water with instructor help and learn basic aquatic safety skills.
To avoid cancellations due to inclement weather, Safety Topics and Dryland Exercises will be covered (maximum of 2 lessons).
What Do I Need:
A swim diaper or rubber pants are required for any child not fully potty-trained.
Please bring a swimsuit and towel. Goggles and a swim shirt (recommended).
