Stage 6 (Stroke Mechanics):
Students in this stage refine stroke technique on all major competitive strokes, learn about competitive swimming, and discover how to incorporate swimming into a healthy lifestyle.
Prerequisites:
Students must be able to swim any stroke or combination of strokes for 25 yards, front crawl with rotary breathing for 15 yards, swim back crawl for 15 yards and butterfly kick for 15 yards. Ability to perform seated dive, resting stroke for 15 yards and tread water for 1 minute using scissor and whip kicks.
What Do I Need:
Bathing suit, towel and goggles (recommended).
