About This Activity
Description
Swim Stroke/Conditioning Clinics are designed for swimmers who already have a strong foundation of the fundamentals of swimming and desire to learn more advanced swimming techniques for competitive swimming. These clinics put an emphasis on proper technique over speed. Each clinic will focus on one stroke, along with turns and starts for that stroke.
Level of Instruction: Advanced. Students must be able to swim 50 yards and be proficient in the stroke of the clinic in which they are registering. Swimmers must also have general knowledge of the proper turn and start for the specific stroke.
Skills/Fundamentals Learned:
Endurance and technique skill drills specific to the stroke outlined in the title.
Instructor: This class is taught by a certified Starfish Aquatic Institute Swim and Stroke Instructor.
Registration Instructions: Class Requirements: Students must be able to swim 50 yards and be proficient in the stroke of the clinic in which they are registering. Equipment: All equipment is provided.
