About This Activity
Description
For kids ready to take their swim skills to the next level, Swim Club provides an opportunity to work on strokes, build endurance and participate in meets in a positive and fun atmosphere. Kids build confidence as they learn starts and turns, improve strokes and work as a team. This semi-competitive group is ideal for the swimmers who have completed swim lessons, have a knowledge of the four competitive strokes and may have an interest in participating on a competitive swim team in the future. Kids who can swim 25 yards unassisted are able to participate. With 90 minutes a week of practice and free, optional meets with area Y's about once a month, Swim Club offers opportunities to learn, grow and thrive through instruction, coaching and social interaction.Program Category
